Key Responsibilities- Provide data and analysis to support the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA) and the facilitation of risk management processes.
- Track the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework, including risk control policies and procedures.
- Identify issue root causes and recommend corrective actions and improvements in partnership with control and process owners.
- Convey information and monitor control breaches to ensure the implementation of lessons learned across business units.
- Provide data for the review and challenge process on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks.
- Assess the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of the MCA through controls prior to and after process execution.
- Coordinate the adherence to the MCA Standard through controls and contribute to the review of operational and compliance risk.
- Provide data in analysis to identify, assess, escalate, and manage risk exposures across risk categories.
- Evaluate risk appetite and monitor exposures against this in accordance with enterprise requirements.
- Convey information to identify, assess, record, and respond to operational and compliance risk events.
- Track that adequate governance and training are in place to support risk management.
- Provide data on the risks associated with new activities and changes to the business.
- Involved with operational risk scenario analysis and stress testing for operational risk capital requirements.
- Understand that risk and control responsibilities and accountabilities are embedded within functional lines of business.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in risk management or a related field.
- Consistent demonstration of clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with a good understanding of how teams interact to achieve objectives.
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
