Estimated salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced test engineer with strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate various electrical test instrumentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.

The position requires working closely with design teams, vendors, and customers to ensure that our products meet their functional requirements. This includes verifying products against specifications and procedures, analyzing capabilities, and controlling critical parameters.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in NI LabView test application development and proficiency in hardware and software development. Additionally, the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure testability of new product designs, providing feedback to design teams addressing opportunities for defects in manufacturing and field use.
  • Accurately estimate project costs as associated with implementing test solutions.
  • Own the test requirements from vendor to shipment to customer.
  • Verify products meet their functional requirements - including design verification and manufacturing screens.
  • Analyze capabilities and ensure control of critical parameters of products and test equipment.

**Work Environment:**

The role requires regular work in office, lab, and manufacturing facilities. Occasional travel to international manufacturing and/or development locations may be required.

**Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Strong problem-solving attributes.
  • Ability to operate various electrical test instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in hardware and software development.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.

**Education:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • 6-sigma or equivalent statistical, problem-solving methodology.
