Senior Manager, Product Verification Engineering

About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Product Verification Engineering team. As a key member of our Systems Engineering COE, you will be responsible for managing projects and resources to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion while maintaining the highest technical standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans, objectives, and deliverables for team members covering system verification, robustness, and regression testing.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute system-level testing for assigned projects, leveraging verification best practices to minimize testing time and sample sizes.
  • Drive optimizations in test processes to increase test coverage while improving quality and efficiency.
  • Lead hiring and staffing decisions to improve team effectiveness, working with project managers and stakeholders to determine project needs.
  • Build effective teams by conducting period evaluations and training new staff members.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of building and leading small self-directed teams.
  • Excellent time and project management skills, with experience managing competing and concurrent projects.
  • Strong financial management skills, with ability to allocate resources successfully.
  • Able to maintain group cohesion and cooperation, resolving conflicts and realigning priorities as needed.
  • Rich set of problem-solving skills, including structured and unstructured methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate with team members and stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
What We Offer
  • B.S. or higher degree in an engineering or related field.
  • Experience working with PDM.
  • Strong experience with systems verification.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a manager for multiple teams with different projects.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the medical device industry.
  • M.S. in engineering, a related field, or engineering management considered a plus.
  • Strong understanding of design controls and their implications for V&V testing.
Additional Information

This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements, requiring on-site work from an Insulet office at least 1x/week and remote work on other days. The estimated salary for this role is $145,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
