Your Role at Baxter

As a Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's sensitive data and systems. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust PAM solutions to protect privileged accounts and access within our environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain PAM solutions tailored to the organization's needs, ensuring comprehensive coverage of privileged accounts and access points.
  • Configure and manage PAM tools and platforms, including privileged account repositories, session management, and password vaults, to enforce least privilege principles and enhance security posture.
  • Integrate PAM solutions with existing identity and access management (IAM) systems, security infrastructure, and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and workflows to streamline PAM processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular assessments of privileged access risks and vulnerabilities, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize remediation efforts to mitigate security threats effectively.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in PAM-related incidents, providing support during security incidents, investigations, and audits.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of PAM configurations, processes, and procedures, generating regular reports on PAM performance, compliance status, and security metrics for management review and audit purposes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.) are preferred.
  • Proven experience (2+ years) implementing and managing Privileged Access Management solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of PAM concepts, methodologies, and technologies, including password management, session monitoring, privilege elevation, etc.
  • Proficiency in deploying and configuring PAM tools such as CyberArk, Centrify, Thycotic, or similar solutions.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management (IAM) principles, authentication protocols, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) and automation tools for process optimization and workflow automation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
