We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Excellence Standards Specialist to join our team at Ball Aerospace. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and enforcing manufacturing excellence standards to optimize operations, enhance product quality, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the adoption and implementation of Lean thinking and Lean-Based Management Systems across the organization.
- Develop and implement comprehensive manufacturing excellence standards aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Analyze and monitor global progress on the Ball Manufacturing Excellence Program, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and supply chain objectives.
- Drive the evolution and execution of the Manufacturing Excellence Model to achieve cost, quality, and service competitiveness.
- Lead cross-functional teams to assess current manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and define performance metrics.
- Establish protocols and guidelines for quality control, ensuring consistency and reliability in product manufacturing.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor adherence to established standards and identify opportunities for refinement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate new technologies and methodologies that enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Provide training and support to employees at all levels to ensure understanding and compliance with manufacturing excellence standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change management.
- Strong influence and facilitation skills to drive organizational change.
- Financial and analytical skills to drive business decisions.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with SAP as a service provider.
