**The Role**

We are seeking a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico (Hybrid). As part of a scrum team, you will be responsible for development, test automation, and testing. Your primary responsibility will be the effective assurance of product quality through the execution of the test strategy, including test automation, code inspections, peer review, and white-box testing.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Review business requirements and functional/technical/design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
- Create clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans/cases, pointing out unclear/conflicting requirements, enhancing user stories with acceptance criteria where needed
- Introduce and refine automated testing solutions
- Perform manual testing for software functionality, data validations, and transformations as well as performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other systems
- Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional, technical, and design specifications and requirements
- Isolate, replicate, analyze, and report defects and verify defect fixes
- Proactively communicate with Scrum Master, Business Analysts, and Developers about open issues and test status.

**Requirements**

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of relevant QA technical experience, implementing automated testing solutions at an enterprise scale. You should have excellent critical analysis skills, clear, proactive communication skills, and the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks based on priority. Familiarity with common tools used for different levels of testing, such as JMeter, Jasmine/Mocha, Locust, Cucumber, Gherkin syntax, Cypress, Browserstack, and experience with Github and Jira is required. Basic knowledge of Cloud Services, ADA requirements, and experience with Agile methodology are also necessary.
