We are seeking an exceptional Senior User Experience (UX) Designer to join our team at Cognizant. As a UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead medium to large-sized engagements, overseeing cross-functional teams and ensuring that client needs are met through effective project delivery.
- Manage and grow Digital reports, including UX Designer and Visual Designer reports.
- Develop and evaluate design concepts, conduct primary research, and collaborate on research plans, demonstrating advanced technical knowledge.
- May manage and grow direct reports, providing mentorship and guidance, and take an active role in mentoring others within and across subject areas.
- Design and facilitate team and client workshops, project phase, and client goals.
- Anticipate future project demands, identify potential business opportunities on existing projects, and scope, plan, and support new business efforts, actively contributing to the sales process.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of applied experience in user-centered design processes for sophisticated products or services. A portfolio demonstrating proven experience is required.
- Significant UX design experience in a web and/or digital product environment.
- Highly skilled in information architecture, task flows, mental models, and conceptual design.
- Ability to translate conceptual design into low-fidelity UI wireframes and prototypes.
- Highly skilled in applying UI best practices and standards.
- Familiarity with the latest design tools, such as Figma, Axure, Invision, and Sketch.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and teaming skills.
