About the Role

ZF Friedrichshafen AG is seeking a highly skilled Materials Planner to join our team at Toluca. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and use of materials, evaluating the needs, priorities, and requirements of the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Material Planning and Control: Review demand received from Stellantis through 830 & 862, analyze demand (increases/decreases), and plan to react to them.
  2. Critical Issue Resolution: Daily review of coverages, detection, and solution of critical issues to avoid impacts on the production line.
  3. Inventory Management: Supervise the control of raw material and components inventory levels, avoid excess and obsolete.
  4. Component Requirements: Update and send component requirements through releases processed in the MRP system.
  5. Material Tracking: Tracking of shipped material (directed suppliers).
  6. Invoice Processing: Invoices entry to transit for imported directed suppliers.
  7. MRP System Validation: Validation of parameters in MRP system.
  8. Material Reconciliation: Reconciliation of material received vs. material shipped.
  9. PO Changes: Review and submission of PO changes from directed suppliers.
  10. Transportation Planning: Unloading plan for domestic and imported transports.
  11. Negative Inventory: Analysis and adjustment of negative inventory.
  12. Inventory Parameter Audits: Inventory parameter audits.
  13. Transportation Scheduling: Scheduling of transportation units for pick up with directed suppliers.
  14. Supplier Communication: Communication to directed suppliers of discrepancies of materials received.
  15. CIS & ZFPS Projects: Participation in CIS & ZFPS projects.
  16. Stellantis TAP MLM Group: Direct communication with Stellantis TAP MLM group.
  17. Procedures and Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the procedures involved in your activities.
  18. Virtual Import Reports: Support to virtual import reports for the trades area.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent (preferred), Eng.
  • Required experience: 5 years minimum in supply chain.
  • Specific knowledge: SAP, Supply Chain, Materials Planning, Demand, knowledge in STLA portals, Customer Requirements, Knowledge in Forecast 830 and 862.
  • ERP management (SAP, Oracle, QAD).
  • Conversational English, reading, and writing.
  • EXCEL.
  • OEM knowledge.
  • Supply Chain.
