Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee the performance, quality, and safety of our manufacturing facilities. Key responsibilities include supervising and facilitating compliance with production programs and objectives, attending to and resolving the needs of the area, and providing technical guidance and advice to leaders and supervisors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Ensure the timely and efficient completion of production projects.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, preventing and addressing work-related accidents and illnesses.
  • Supervise and facilitate compliance with production programs and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to leaders and supervisors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managerial positions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and standard processes.
  • Familiarity with production planning and scheduling techniques.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles (a plus).
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in manual assembly processes, manufacturing (CNC machines, lathes, metal passivation).
  • 100% focus on safety as a priority.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferably).
  • Data-driven problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
