Job Summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Operations Manager to join our team in Tijuana. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the performance of a production entity through hierarchical animation of teams. Your strong leadership skills and experience in continuous improvement will enable you to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the shop floor, including managing reported incidents and near misses.
  • Manage the performance and productivity of resources, including load/resource balance according to the MPS and customer portfolio.
  • Participate in the development of Master Production Schedule and manage team performance according to SPS/SIM rules and cycle events of the plant.
  • Be responsible for people management, including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
  • Define training axes according to competencies target vs missions and expand cooperation to achieve collective performance.
  • Lead change management and social impacts, providing know-how and industrial expertise for PCO (projects).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, Education, Science, Technical, Management, Operations Management, MBA, Industrial Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, quality improvement tools, techniques, and models, and performance management tools (LDS/DISS/MES/ERP, etc.).
  • Five years of experience providing consulting services to clients in the manufacturing industry, managing Financial Analysts, and having hand-on experience of day-to-day management of complex and inter-related manufacturing operations.
  • English advanced and Automotive Industry experience.
