  • Data Partitioning and Distribution: Design and implement data partitioning strategies to distribute data across multiple storage devices or servers, based on business requirements.
  • Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze data volume trends, system performance metrics, and storage utilization to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with SAP Basis, ABAP development, and functional teams to ensure data volume management solutions align with business requirements and technical standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in SAP analysis, configuration, and deployment.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP data archiving tools and techniques, such as SAP Data Archiving, SAP Information Lifecycle Management (SILM), and SAP Data Volume Management (DVM).
  • Database and Storage Knowledge: Strong understanding of SAP database technologies (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP ASE, SAP MaxDB) and storage solutions.
  • SQL Scripting: Proficiency in SQL scripting.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
