Technical Partnership Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Systems Architect to partner with our Public Sector Federal Account Executives in a pre-sales technical role. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in Networking, Collaboration, Data Centers, Security, Software Defined Technologies, and software for observability and AI.

The successful candidate will showcase Cisco product solutions through demonstrations and explain features and benefits to customers, while designing and configuring products to meet specific customer needs.

The role requires direct account and partner responsibilities for Public Sector Federal accounts, as well as the ability to keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.
  • Perform technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects.
  • Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities.
  • Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and provide consultative support to other Systems Engineers in their area of specialization.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • +7 years-related experience.
  • Cisco product experience or relevant experience in key competitor offerings in technology area of emphasis required.
  • Pre-sales experience is required.
  • Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent.
  • CCNP, CCVP, CCIE, or Data Center Certifications are strongly encouraged.
  • Knowledge and proven operating experience in one of the following areas of specialization: Unified Communications, Video, Campus LAN & WLAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Security, BYOD architectures, Data Center Technologies, Big Data, Analytics, SDN, Server Architecture, Virtualization, Programmability.

  • Availability to travel up to 20% to customer sites and corporate offices.
