At The Cast, we're revolutionizing the way businesses optimize their Kubernetes costs. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of this movement, working closely with customers to deliver a seamless and automated Kubernetes experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their Kubernetes use cases and develop tailored solutions.
  • Create tooling and scripts to demonstrate our products and provide feedback on product usability.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and relay them to our product management team.
  • Operate and maintain ownership of multiple Kubernetes environments for different customer use cases.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Technical PreSales.
  • Strong Kubernetes administration and operations skills, specifically around pod scheduling and placement.
  • Expertise in at least one of the 3 major public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Terraform.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Fluency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell, etc).
  • Ability to work independently or with a group.
  • Past customer-facing engineering experience.
  • A "yes we can" attitude.
  • CKAD and/or CKA certification(s) is an immense advantage.
