At Denso Mexico Sa De Cv, we are seeking a skilled Network Administrator Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the daily operations of our network, including configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, servers, and other network devices.

Our ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of network protocols, standards, architectures, administration tools, and software. They will be responsible for monitoring the network performance, security, and availability, and implementing backup and recovery procedures.

We are looking for someone with good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, and certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft MCSA are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with the implementation of monitoring tools and confirm all devices are being monitored
  2. Create dashboards to show network performance
  3. Conduct network security audits and support vulnerability assessments
  4. Track and investigate alerts created from network monitoring tools
  5. Monitor the ticket system for network incidents that Help Desk cannot resolve - Escalate to L3 Network Team members as necessary for job shadowing and learning how to resolve common incidents
  6. Diagnose and resolve complex network issues
  7. Monitor the ticket system for network requests that the Help Desk cannot resolve; escalate to L3 Systems Team members as necessary for job shadowing and learning how to complete common requests
  8. Maintain documentation of configuration changes and procedures
  9. Track and manage network hardware and software inventory

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of network protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
  • Familiarity with networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for network connectivity issues
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools
