Job PurposeMaintain the plant's Quality Systems through developing, implementing and improving methods, techniques and procedures of the Integrated Quality System and manufacturing processes, in order to ensure that it complies with internal, customer, corporate and IATF16949:2016, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 standards.
Key Responsibilities- Process Optimization: Determine standard cycle times, lay out, labor of production lines to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Design and Development: Design fixtures, tools, packaging and poka yokes for the manufacturing of processes to ensure quality and consistency.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain production processes within the control parameters required for critical (CC) and special (SC) characteristics defined in designs and by customers.
- Process Improvement: Develop corrective and/or preventive actions derived from the audits of the Integral Quality System to ensure effective and timely updates and operation of the Integral Quality System.
- Documentation and Training: Maintain and periodically review operation sheets, standardized work, flow charts, FMEA, Control Plan, SC/CC characteristics matrix, Set Up sheets, specifications, visual aids, and manufacturing system procedures to comply with the plant's quality system and specific customer requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ensure that the Advanced Quality Planning of the product is fulfilled in a timely manner for all Welding and Machining processes, and coordinate PPAP activities with all departments to ensure established programs are met and timely support is given to scheduled areas and events.
