The Role

As an Ams Senior Manager Business Operations, you will be responsible for the recruitment delivery and relationship management of our new client's solution. Your key objectives include ensuring quality thresholds and KPIs are met, achieving client satisfaction targets, and generating value for Ams. You will take ownership of your team's development, delivering an effective and efficient service that meets client expectations.

This role requires a sound level of specialist/technical expertise, including sourcing strategies, recruitment models, and best practices. You will work closely with the Client Director to identify business and account development opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Liaise with senior contacts within the client to develop and maintain business plans, recruitment plans, and organizational structures.
  2. Hold sound knowledge of recruitment model options and design to promote the benefits of an RPO solution to the client.
  3. Lead both on-site and off-site teams, driving productivity, account profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  4. Solid understanding of the contract and managing the scope, governance, and compliance through team activity.
  5. Lead teams (Managers or direct reports) in the delivery against targets, budgets, and SLAs.
  6. Act as a Trusted Advisor to clients and team on resourcing-related matters.
  7. Manage senior stakeholders in fast-moving, complex, and difficult client environments, enhancing Ams' reputation.
  8. Support Managers in resolving complex and contentious situations/issues with clients.
  9. Understand AMS people as a key market differentiator and genuinely commit to the development of direct reports and wider team.
  10. Determine resources required to achieve delivery targets, define these in collaboration with Managers, and manage the allocation of these.
  11. Use data appropriately to make sensible decisions with both the team and the client.
  12. Deliver continuous improvement projects and client-specific projects.
  13. Responsible for spotting business development opportunities and engaging with the Client Director.
  14. Custodian of the client's Employee Value Proposition (EVP), ensuring the entire team can convey the proposition in a compelling way and enhance the client's brand presence in the market.
  15. Keep abreast of market intelligence and industry trends, using this insight to develop resourcing plans.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working to demanding targets, ratios, and SLAs, and working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Producing business-oriented management information and interpreting it to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
  • Subject matter expertise, knowledge of local recruitment practices, and the ability to use market intelligence and analyze market trends.
  • Deep knowledge of multiple market sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, financial levers, governance frameworks, business assurance, and controls.
  • Track record of managing complex, high-profile recruitment projects and multiple campaigns.
  • Experience in using recruitment technology and recruitment databases.
  • Recognized as a 'trusted advisor' by senior stakeholders and HR/Resourcing leads.
  • Experience of managing large teams with a mix of direct and indirect reports.
  • Ability to liaise with and influence all levels of management to agree a change of direction or new process.
  • Experience of managing, coaching, and developing people managers.
  • Developing and delivering recruitment strategies and processes to improve outcomes.
  • Thorough understanding of legislation affecting the area of work and the ability to guide and advise clients on legislation.
