This full-time role involves acting as the Program Manager for Finance & Accounts, specifically for various study abroad programs across 1-2 designated regions. The individual will be the primary contact for all inquiries related to financial matters concerning programs and students. Collaboration with Program Managers, Product Leads, and Resident Directors will be essential in the following areas:
Financial Management
- Generate invoices for students and educational institutions, manage payment collections, monitor outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue payments.
- Facilitate the processing of financial aid applications and track the distribution of student aid.
- Establish and oversee payment plans for students.
- Ensure comprehensive tracking of program finances, guaranteeing that all program-related expenses for students are accounted for.
- Review and authorize invoices for payment to host universities, housing agencies, and other international service providers.
- Support various accounting and finance initiatives as required.
- Implement and collect cancellation fees for late withdrawals.
- Manage and monitor promotional discounts.
- Process refund requests as necessary.
Account Management
- Maintain accurate financial records within the student accounts in the CRM system.
- Handle withdrawals, deferrals, and changes to program enrollments.
- Update program contracts and other financial documentation provided to students.
Customer Support
- Provide guidance on financial aid options, 529 plans, payment arrangements, and other tuition assistance programs.
- Address inquiries regarding cancellation policies.
- Respond to tax-related questions.
- Offer detailed price breakdowns for students.
