We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Control Supervisor to join our team at North American Production Sharing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and finished goods to meet customer requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Materials Control Staff and assign tasks to ensure a continuous workflow.
  • Supervise the different Warehouses and Control the Flow of Materials and Finished Goods.
  • Schedule Deliveries based on Production Forecasts, Market Conditions, Material Substitutions, Production Line as well as Storage and Handling Capacities.
  • Audit Material Lists for compliance to the Company's Standard Practices in regards to the use of Parts and Materials.
  • Prepare and/or Authorize timely Requisitions to the Purchasing Department for Raw Materials and Parts.
  • Expedite Purchases that are delayed or in Response to Changes in the Production Plan.
  • Develop, Modify and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Appraise the Performance of Subordinates and Recommend the appropriate Development Plans.

Requirements:

  • Professional Degree (Industrial Engineer or other Engineering Degree desirable with APICS Certification or a Certificate Program in Materials Management).
  • Lean / Six Sigma Green Belt desired.
  • 3 to 5 years within Inventory / Warehouse Control Systems.
  • Advanced level of English fluency.
  • Intermediate level of computer usage (Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) and Application Programs ERP, MS Project, VISIO, etc.

Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively with remote teams.
  • Proven experience with materials management and warehouse concepts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work with equipment and maintain accurate documentation records.
