Your Role at Baxter: As a Sr. Consultant, Finance IT, you will be a strategic partner and business relationship manager to the Finance leadership teams. This partnership will enable the Finance functions to achieve its goals, drive the greatest leverage of our technical investments, enable innovation, and maintain Baxter's leadership position in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop value propositions and business cases based on customer and business needs
- Be a strategic partner and advisor to the business by leveraging best resources inside and outside the organization to make the right technology decisions for respective functions
- Single point of contact for IT, partnering across various functions, including solution, data and analytics, and technical delivery to ensure the end-end solution is delivered
- Own large size/complex projects, demonstrate extensive business knowledge, require minimal direction, give moderate direction to others, handle key complex problems, possess extensive knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Conduct interviews to understand business partner pain points
- Partner with Procurement and 3rd party vendors as needed for new solutions and enhancements
- Serve as Product Owner across multiple Product Portfolios and establishes a vision and product roadmaps across multiple Finance portfolios and provide visibility to business and technical stakeholders
- Lead and drive continuous improvement opportunities for end-end business processes and system interdependencies across multiple Finance functions
- Integrate input from multiple channels, including customer research, industry research/best practices and stakeholder requirements, into product priorities and requirements
- Communicate status, progress, and results to stakeholders
Your Team: The Global Information Technology Centers are focused on being a stronger business partner, aligned to deliver on the technology needs and maintaining global support and shared expertise to advance digital capabilities across the enterprise.
What You'll Be Doing: As a Sr. Consultant, Finance IT, you will be responsible for developing value propositions and business cases, being a strategic partner and advisor to the business, and owning large size/complex projects. You will also be responsible for conducting interviews to understand business partner pain points, partnering with Procurement and 3rd party vendors, and serving as Product Owner across multiple Product Portfolios.
