Lean Transformation Specialist

Position Overview: The role of the Continuous Improvement Manager is pivotal in fostering a culture of excellence within the organization. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing operational processes and driving significant improvements across various performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and execute Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen events, ensuring thorough engagement at all stages from ideation to implementation.
- Identify and analyze process inefficiencies, proposing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Lead Lean transformation initiatives and manage related projects to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Deliver training and mentorship to staff, ensuring comprehension of continuous improvement methodologies and their application in daily operations.
- Guide process owners in utilizing Lean principles to achieve superior operational performance.
- Establish performance metrics and provide regular updates on progress towards organizational goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that improvement initiatives yield tangible results.
- Drive efforts to enhance key business indicators including safety, quality, productivity, delivery, cost, and employee development.
- Enhance the capabilities of personnel in applying continuous improvement techniques and Lean tools.
- Demonstrate initiative in developing programs that yield measurable outcomes while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Exhibit leadership and influence to achieve desired results without formal authority.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with robust problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Possession of a valid Passport and Visa.
Educational Background:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
- Willingness to travel for training and collaborative events.
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
- Availability to work on-site as required.
- Flexibility to relocate in alignment with business needs.
