Job Title: Flow Controller - Planner Buyer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Flow Controller - Planner Buyer to join our team at Schneider Electric Gruppe. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for optimizing our inventory levels and ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run Distribution Requirement Planning process on its perimeter to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
- Define and update stock parameters to achieve service level objectives while optimizing inventory levels.
- Manage the purchase order portfolio, analyze stock discrepancies, and perform adjustments to ensure seamless inventory management.
- PR to PO conversion through ERP batch job to automate the process and ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Action on MRP Exceptions and work with suppliers to advise/expedite deliveries.
- Manage Customer Requests Workflows and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Ensure stock availability by analyzing and taking right actions to keep Upstream Back Order Lines, Downstream Back Order Lines, Pre-Shortage, Shortage, Stock Coverage, and Stock Health under control.
- Define default transportation mode using Air/Sea Tool and go through the workflow in case of transportation mode change.
- Be the primary contact for suppliers and work closely with Downstream Planning Leader, Upstream Planning Leader, Supply & Inventory Planner, and Transportation/Logistics team to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Required Skills:
- Mathematical optimization
- Management System
- Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Operations Engineering
- Ability to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to conclusions based on findings
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to make independent decisions with little supervision
- Ability to proactively seek out information, training, and other resources needed to facilitate continual professional development
- Partner, influence, collaborate, and communicate across the enterprise and with relationships built outside
- Independently solve problems and make decisions for primary and strategic execution and tactical issues within the relevant portfolio of projects and/or processes
- Strong verbal/presentation and written communications skills working in a complex organization
- Experience with SAP (Purchasing, Production planning)
