About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team at Essity AB. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for executing the day-to-day Accounts Payable administration activities for the GBS Sourcing Administration Accounts Payable Team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Execute the global accounts payable process in a defined area in an effective and cost-efficient way.
  2. Ensure compliance with regulations, accounting principles, standards, and other agreed-upon ways of working within the accounts payable process.
  3. Perform quality checks and secure AP process delivery as defined in framework agreements and/or Service Level Agreements.
  4. Provide accurate and complete information to employees, managers, and other finance colleagues.
  5. Support external and internal financial audits and resolve audit findings.
  6. Follow controlling standards and other Essity policies such as KIC and legal regulations.
Requirements
  1. Associate or bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or related finance role.
  3. Preferred system experience – SAP (R/3 and S/4), Invoice Track or comparable Accounts Payable ERP, Ariba, and Office 365.
  4. Proficient in English – oral and written communication skills.
  5. Flexible and adaptable to change and new systems and/or methods.
  6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Strategically agile in understanding all business components and how they fit together.
  8. Strong in our Beliefs & Behaviors.
  9. Emphasis on Leading Self Competencies.
  10. Other language skills an advantage.
