Key Responsibilities- Program Implementation: Apply knowledge of Mexican security and justice institutions and their role in implementing Mexican justice-related strategies.
- Communication: Communicate clearly in written and oral contexts with diverse audiences ranging from senior U.S. and GOM officials to the end users of CSI donations and trainings.
- Administrative Support: Manage all administrative aspects of trainings and study tours, including protocol and visa arrangements, vetting clearances, and logistical coordination.
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial and end-use data entry and reporting for multiple INL projects, maintaining meticulous accuracy and adherence to INL accounting standards.
- Project Coordination: Anticipate potential program needs and proactively develop solutions to ensure seamless implementation.
- Reporting: Develop insightful and actionable reports that proactively identify critical trends, anticipate challenges, and guide strategic program adjustments.
- Logistics: Coordinate supplies purchases and other general business responsibilities.
- Citizenship: Mexican Citizen or Third Country National.
- Language Skills: Spanish FSI level 4/4 and English FSI level 3/3.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in international relations, criminal justice, law enforcement, social sciences, or associate degree with five (5) years related experience from an accredited institution or; ten (10) years of related experience in the justice sector, law enforcement, international development, international affairs, or public administration.
- Experience: A combination of five (5) years of experience on an administrative position within a professional setting, with a minimum for three (3) years' experience in program implementation.
- Security Clearance: Ability to pass a U.S. Embassy RSO security background check.
- Communication Skills: Ability to deal effectively with senior U.S. and GOM officials.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
