As a Senior Credit Analyst at Citi, you will be responsible for analyzing complex financial statements, providing insightful analysis, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions.

  • Spread new, renewal, and interim financial statements, as well as business and individual tax returns, in accordance with bank guidelines.
  • Provide succinct analysis based on customers, peers, the portfolio, and the industry.
  • Conduct preliminary analysis of simple to complex credits, including calculation of cash flow, debt service coverage, collateral coverage, and guarantor net worth.
  • Coordinate with Credit Officers, Credit Analysts, and other Credit Center Staff to ensure seamless credit decision-making.
  • Act as an advisory role for Credit Officers and Relationship Managers on loan agreement and covenant clarification and monitoring.
  • Provide leadership, training, and coaching to Credit Analyst I positions and backup support to the Application Preparation Team Manager.
  • May act as an industry specialist with responsibility for SBA/EXIM loan analysis.
