Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst
Job Summary:
The Senior Credit Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the company's growth by providing data-driven recommendations for new and existing customer accounts. This includes risk assessment, credit limit approval, and change proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of public and private companies, including review of financial statements, credit reports, and other available resources.
- Evaluate credit worthiness of prospective and existing customers based on financial data, industry trends, and economic conditions.
- Monitor and recommend changes to risk ratings and credit limits based on multiple factors, including payment trends, business types, terms, and conditions.
- Prepare professional and technical emails to effectively communicate risk concerns to various stakeholders globally.
- Obtain, track, and reconcile private company customer financial statements with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
- Approve Journal Entries within company policies with accuracy.
- Create and update internal processes and procedures, suggest improvements, and efficiencies.
- Prepare and document individual customer summaries, including internal approvals and legal contracts.
- Prepare internal documents, including Non-Disclosure Agreements and Letters of Guarantee.
- Provide customer service to branch locations for credit-related inquiries.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of related experience.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and initiative with the ability to work independently or with others and minimal day-to-day supervision.
- Ability to exhibit good judgment and deal with abstract concepts.
- Dependability, punctuality, and reliability in the production of work.
- Ability to problem-solve, work in a high-volume environment, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize daily workflow.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal and financial documents.
- Excellent customer service.
- Aptitude for learning new software applications.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Eligibility to work in Mexico.
