About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Installation Mechanic to join our team at Otis. As an Installation Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe installation of elevators and escalators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install new elevators with quality and efficiency
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with all Environmental Health & Safety guidelines
  • Liaise directly with the customer while on site to build a good working relationship
  • Conduct inspection before and after installation to ensure high quality and safety standards

Requirements

  • You are qualified to install elevators to the standards set in your country
  • You hold a driver's license (as necessary)
  • You have at least 6 months of experience in the field of elevators, ideally acquired in the assembly activity or at least experience on site and / or installation
  • You have good electrical and mechanical skills
  • You are comfortable with plan reading and calculations
