RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute quality assurance frameworks and methodologies to ensure alignment with industry benchmarks, legal stipulations, and client expectations.
  • Perform systematic evaluations and assessments of production workflows, raw materials, and end products to pinpoint enhancement opportunities and guarantee compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Work in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and customer support, to resolve quality-related challenges and promote ongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Set up essential performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate and track quality outcomes throughout the organization.
  • Examine data and patterns to uncover fundamental causes of quality challenges and formulate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to mitigate them.
  • Deliver training and support to staff regarding quality protocols, processes, and optimal practices.
  • Oversee internal and external quality evaluations and certifications, including ISO and other pertinent accreditations.
  • Manage interactions with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
  • Investigate client grievances and warranty requests, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Remain informed about industry developments, regulations, and best practices pertinent to quality management in the HVAC sector.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Quality and Manufacturing within the HVAC domain.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Extensive knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Experience with quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for interpreting complex data and identifying root causes of quality issues.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal capabilities, with the capacity to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to the HVAC sector.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Certification as a Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Additional certifications related to quality management, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO 9001, are beneficial.

TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED

  • 15% travel.
