Quality Assurance Leader

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute quality assurance frameworks and protocols to guarantee adherence to industry benchmarks, regulations, and client specifications.
- Perform routine evaluations and assessments of production workflows, materials, and end products to pinpoint enhancement opportunities and ensure compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including engineering, production, and customer support, to resolve quality challenges and promote ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Set up key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate and track quality performance throughout the organization.
- Examine data and patterns to determine underlying causes of quality concerns and formulate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address them.
- Deliver training and support to staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee internal and external quality assessments and certifications, including ISO and other pertinent certifications.
- Manage partnerships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
- Investigate customer feedback and warranty claims, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
- Stay informed on industry developments, regulations, and best practices related to quality management in the HVAC sector.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience in Quality and Manufacturing within the HVAC industry.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree is advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools, including Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for interpreting complex data and identifying root causes of quality issues.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to the HVAC sector.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Additional certifications related to quality management, such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ISO 9001, are beneficial.

TRAVEL TIME REQUIRED
- 15% travel may be necessary.
