About the Role

As a Logistics Coordinator at General Motors, you will play a critical role in supporting the management of relationships with logistics providers and service providers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing deliverables in support of the organization's commercial objectives.
  • Providing support to one of the key areas within the Logistics and/or Containers organization to ensure that commercial objectives are met or exceeded in all areas, including customer initiatives, quality, service, response time, people, products, and financials.
  • Communicating within the function, as well as with other functions, external affiliates, regulatory agencies.
  • Supporting the management of relationships with logistics providers and service providers.
  • Influencing others within the organization to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches.
  • Identifying problems, updating or modifying work methods that may be complex in the work area without the benefit of defined procedures.
  • Promoting GM values and making customer-centric decisions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Eliminating obstacles and resolving problems/complaints: Observing and advancing to eliminate obstacles and resolve possible problems.
