Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects for various product lines and develop products that will be produced in our Matamoros plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the on-time, quality, cost, and performance launch of projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Build and manage projects from need formulation to delivery of first industrial production (QCT & performances).
  • Interact with customers, sales, and marketing teams to collaborate on customer and strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing site to secure resources and set priorities.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively address them.
  • Ensure the implementation of NPD methodology in the organization.

Accountability and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Guarantee project feasibility with Need, Product, Process, Suppliers, and Supply chain leaders.
  • Ensure on-time validation of the project.
  • Ensure technical approval from customers/market (product/process...) in relation with Need leader and, when necessary, with support from Product Process or Suppliers and Supply chain leaders.
  • Guarantee global and operational transfer of the project to the plant until production is stabilized.
  • Share project's Quality/Cost/Time Performance objectives and guarantee new product launches are on-time, in full, at cost, on budget, and meet quality requirements in line with project charter.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management role involving direct client interface and product development.
  • Experience in packaging/fast-moving consumer good industry is preferred.
  • Implementation of LSS methodologies on transactional or non-manufacturing environments, a plus.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems, a plus.

Knowledge and Technical Skills

  • Fluent in both written and oral English.
  • Knowledge of injection molding and mold design/development is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Project Management (PMI certification a plus).
