Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Engineering Specialist to join our team at Robert Bosch Group. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant's facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for buildings and central equipment to ensure optimal production and efficiency.
- Supervise and execute maintenance activities for central equipment, including Atlas Copco air compressors and dryers, GE electrical transformers and main panels, Grundfos water pumps, and other critical systems.
- Monitor and operate central equipment, including UPS-Schneider/Eaton power backup units and BOSCH Boiler Units.
- Support the installation of production equipment and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed for audit processes.
- Reconfigure, install, position, and reassemble offices and modular spaces to suit user needs and maximize space.
- Perform routine building maintenance tasks and control and schedule activities for a team of technicians.
- Supervise activities for external technicians and carry out electrical and mechanical installations for production or building activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plant Engineering Technician.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Service-oriented attitude and strong drive on safety procedures.
- Basic knowledge of Mexican regulations for Electrical installations and construction requirements.
- Teamwork, proactive, sense of urgency, and results-oriented.
