TigerConnect is seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to enhance our financial operations. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial documentation, focusing primarily on Accounts Payable, while also engaging in various daily tasks and special projects within the accounting division. The successful candidate will take charge of all Payables functions, perform a variety of account reconciliations, oversee financial closing activities, and contribute to projects that facilitate our financial closing process. A thorough understanding of financial statements and familiarity with US GAAP and internal controls is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general ledger activities and accounting responsibilities, including bank reconciliations, departmental expense assessments, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, credit card liabilities, leases, and accrued expenses.
  • Prepare account reconciliations along with corresponding journal entries.
  • Support month-end closing procedures.
  • Assist in generating internal financial reports for senior leadership.
  • Contribute to the creation and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of monthly and quarterly financial outcomes.
  • Engage in ad-hoc projects across various accounting and finance teams.
  • Participate in exciting automation initiatives and process improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in Accounts Payables, Banking, and Purchasing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience in SaaS, construction, or technology sectors is advantageous.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the complete Accounting cycle.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a critical thinker, capable of working independently.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and manage projects effectively according to established timelines.
  • A genuine curiosity and eagerness to understand the business, coupled with a desire to improve processes for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • A collaborative approach with a strong ability to work within a team environment.
