As a Senior Network Security Specialist at Cisco Systems, you will play a crucial role in providing 2nd/3rd level technical support for Firepower Security technologies to our customers, partners, and internal teams. Your expertise will be invaluable in resolving complex network security issues and ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' networks.

About the Role:
  • Provide advanced technical support for Cisco security products, including Firepower, ASA firewalls, and FMC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve network security threats.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions on network security best practices and Cisco security solutions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in network security, technical support, or a related field.
  • Possess a strong understanding of networking protocols, including BGP, PBR, NAT, OSPF, ACL, DNS, ARP Inspection, and IPSec concepts.
  • Familiarity with database management systems, such as SQL, Linux, and similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies, diagnostic commands, and tools like Wireshark and Packet Analyzer.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or Telecommunication.
  • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking or CCNA 200-301 certification.
  • Experience with Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) firewalls, FTD, Firepower, FMC, APIs, server virtualization, and database knowledge.
