Job Summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Global Forwarding Agent to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for managing and operating the shipment lifecycle of global freight, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Shipment Lifecycle: Understand and execute the processes, documentation, and terminology involved in international shipping from purchase order issuance to delivery of cargo.
  • Coordinate Tasks: Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions in response to challenges, both internally and externally.
  • Facilitate Relationships: Collaborate with international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service, and creative problem resolution.
  • Provide Reporting and Documentation Support: Offer timely and accurate reporting and documentation to internal and external customers.
Requirements
  • Education: High school degree or GED equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Global Forwarding experience.
