**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automated Systems Controls Specialist to join our team at General Motors. As a key member of our team, you will play a lead role in the installation and maintenance of automated systems, including conveyors and robotic picking systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Automated System Implementation: Implement and maintain automated systems to ensure seamless operation and real-time data availability.
  • System Integration: Integrate controls with Inventory Control Systems, Robotics, to ensure seamless operation and real-time data availability.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all control systems meet industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Simulation & Testing: Use advanced tools to simulate controls performance, especially during peak times.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Regularly inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain controls systems to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor the metrics of control systems and suggest adjustments to enhance accuracy and speed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the most effective control solutions are sourced and integrated.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to team members on controls systems.
  • Data Analysis: Extract and analyze data from control systems to derive insights on system performance.

**Requirements**:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic Systems Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, or Robotics Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Available to change shifts (4x3, 5x2, 6x1).
  • English Level: Intermediate.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

  • Microsoft Office.
