Job Summary:

The Payroll Operations Manager will oversee a large account and potentially a portfolio of other accounts. This dynamic role involves team management, client engagement, and leading client escalations within operations. The opportunity to learn additional payroll countries is available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payroll processes are executed according to procedures, standards, and tools for all accounts.
  • Manage staffing and training at optimal levels.
  • Focus on client satisfaction and key performance indicators.
  • Review account status and participate in service review meetings with clients.
  • Manage change requests internally and with clients.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on sales opportunities.
  • Build relationships with other areas.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent is preferred; equivalent work experience required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Payroll solutions is required, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Knowledge of Mexico payroll legislation/taxation is required.
  • Advanced English (reading/speaking) required.
  • Domain expertise in Payroll technology and solution; prefer SAP experience.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships, influence multiple partners, and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills required.
  • Thrives in matrix environments, is flexible, collaborative, and deadline-driven.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail, laser-focused approach on delivery of results required.
  • Proven ability to take a complex business requirement and break it down into operational solutions required.
  • Analytical mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving skills required.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Products required.
  • Experience in Inhouse, Outsourced, and Co-sourced payroll service delivery models preferred.
