Investment Officer, Infrastructure Mexico

International Finance Corporation (IFC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join its team as an Investment Officer, Infrastructure Mexico. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing investments in infrastructure projects in Mexico and the Latin American region.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate investment opportunities in infrastructure projects, including power, transportation, and telecommunications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including private sector companies, governments, and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with the IFC's advisory and environmental and social teams to ensure that investments are aligned with the company's sustainability goals.
- Prepare and present investment proposals to internal committees and external clients.
- Monitor and report on the performance of investments, including financial and social impact.
- Master's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in private sector infrastructure finance and development, preferably in a development finance institution or a commercial bank.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure and energy core subsectors, including power, transportation, and telecommunications.
- Ability to structure and close investments in infrastructure projects, including debt, equity, and mezzanine instruments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, with proficiency in Portuguese a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
