Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Autozone. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining external applicant recruitment sources, developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, and coordinating the hiring process from start to finish.
About the Role:
- Develop and maintain various recruitment networks through college relations programs, recruitment advertising, career fairs, professional organizations, and referral programs.
- Coordinate recruitment and applicant screening for management consideration, ensuring that all hiring and selection records are maintained in compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Maintain relationships with organizational management to ensure adequate staffing plans and standards are implemented.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct phone and personal interviews using behavior interview techniques and other state-of-the-art screening and selection methods to identify qualified applicant pools for targeted positions.
- Maintain applicant records within the applicant tracking system and conduct pre-hire evaluations, including employment references and background checks.
- Audit requisitions for proper signature approval, completeness/accuracy, and compliance with policy and position control.
- Participate in special projects related to improved applicant processing, resourcing, and reporting systems, as well as provide administrative support for departmental needs (invoices, payments, reports, expenses, etc.).
- Develop rapport and effective working relationships with professional recruitment sources at universities and selection tools with vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Human Resources, Psychology, or Communications.
- Minimum/no experience required, but recruiting experience or human resources experience is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not necessary.
