Position Overview

In this role as a Senior Incident Response Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the incident management process throughout its lifecycle, ensuring collaboration among relevant cross-functional teams until resolution.
  • Facilitating incident management discussions to ensure all stakeholders comprehend the incident details, the action plan, and their specific roles.
  • Overseeing all incident-related documentation, including executive summaries and analytical reports.
  • Collaborating with various security divisions to identify and implement enhancements to cross-functional processes.
  • Evaluating current incident management and response capabilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participating as a member of a global incident response team, with the flexibility to work during off-hours as needed.
  • Providing strategic advice to leadership on enhancing security operations and proactively preventing intrusion attempts.
  • Defining risks, analyzing potential threats, and spearheading initiatives for process enhancements.
  • Working alongside a diverse group of security experts to tackle complex challenges in a fast-paced setting.

Candidate Profile:

You will be a strong candidate if you possess:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of experience in supporting and leading initiatives within Information Technology or Security.
  • Proficiency with forensic tools such as Kape, Encase, Axiom, FTK, XWays, or similar disk/memory analysis tools.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Adaptability to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid turnaround times.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and executing across various stakeholder groups.
  • A quick learning aptitude with a proven ability to simplify complex information into concise reports and presentations for executives.
  • Willingness to maintain a flexible schedule, including potential off-hours and weekend work.
  • Analytical expertise, attention to detail, and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • A strong desire to develop into a Cybersecurity subject matter expert, focusing initially on incident response.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as SANS GIAC, CompTIA Security+ CE, or similar.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or comparable service management/ticketing systems.
  • Experience with incident response processes, tools, and forensic investigation techniques.
  • Knowledge of event escalation and reporting protocols.
  • Background in supporting Network Investigations.
  • Understanding of standard security measures for Windows, Linux, and network devices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cyber investigations, including containment, artifact collection, and case management.
