We are seeking a Freight and Logistics Analyst to join our Supply Chain team, composed of 7 people. This integrated team focuses on managing and integrating the different functions of the supply chain at a regional level in collaboration with Customer Service and Commercial Team.

  • The Freight and Logistics Analyst will work on managing the reception, entry, and exit of railway units for delivery to customers at the García site. This role involves monitoring contracted storage, materials handling, and transport coordination services to support our logistic process.
  • This position also requires ensuring safety regulations are met on site and contributing to a positive impact on our safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate transportation of products from origin to final customer delivery; manage inventory; oversee silo and rail operations, including personnel in charge and monitor invoices for transfer, packaging, and storage services.
  • Procurement and Supplier Payment Processes: Issue purchase orders for packaging materials; monitor supplier invoices for warehouse and transportation and support the supplier payment strategy using SAP.
  • Quality Control and Compliance: Follow up on service improvements requested from suppliers and manage documents required for product delivery (bills of lading, certificates, etc.).
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Generate process indicators; participate in physical and cyclical inventory taking; and send reports on rail movements, inventory balances; provide support for month-end close activities (generate manual shipment cost documents, ensure the transfer of documents).
  • Processing shipping cost documents in ERP SAP, ensuring cost-effective and reliable service and supporting the logistics supplier payment strategy to ensure timely and accurate payment for trucking and rail suppliers.

About You:

  • Relevant education degree or equivalent in logistics or industrial engineering.
  • Relevant work experience in similar positions for the last 2 years and English verbal and written communication.
  • Logistics and supply chain knowledge.
  • SAP management.
  • English (written and spoken).
