Job Overview
The Materials team at Safran is seeking a skilled Repair Specialist to optimize spare inventory by ensuring the return to service of parts previously removed from service.
Key Responsibilities
- Launch parts into repair, follow them, and perform SAP transactions to put parts into serviceable stock.
- Ensure repair management of parts into QRO sites (SAESA backshop & SAESA Rep).
- Contribute to the selection of parts to be relaunched in accordance with the MRO Materials team in France and PDP Used.
- Determine, with the technical team, the work scope to be applied on each part sent to repair.
- Create SAP projects to launch and manage repairs.
- Monitor repairs, negotiate lead times and capacity with QRO repair lines and planning, and alert if expectations are not met.
- Integrate parts into serviceable stocks (SAP process).
- Provide KPIs and analyze performance (Cost, quality, lead time, safety).
Requirements
- Be network-oriented and eager to improve Safran needs in the business.
- Capacity to communicate and report effectively.
- Proficiency in IT and management tools: ERP.
- Familiarity with MRO activity and used parts specificities.
- Proven working experience in supply chain.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Capacity to work in a team and provide backup (2 repairs managers).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
Working Environment
The Repair Specialist will work closely with the Global Supply Chain France (LMPLR) team and contribute to the optimization of spare inventory.
