About the Role

At TE Connectivity, we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager II to join our Distribution & Logistics Teams. This role will play a critical part in managing the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin and customer placement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup and implementation of control towers from design to execution.
  • Execute control tower operations, identifying issues, raising flags, and assisting in resolution.
  • Support the global, regional, and business unit logistics teams by providing visibility and insights through process adherence checks and publishing metrics.
  • Manage reporting and dashboards on an operational level, ensuring clean, organized, and prepared data, information, and results.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on fill rate issues and publish reports.
  • Maintain close cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Ensure process adherence and follow-up with the ground team to provide an unparalleled delivery experience to customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Real-time shipment visibility and delivery reliability.
  • Freight cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Warehousing and inventory control.
  • Risk management, disaster planning, and alerts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of direct experience in Logistics & Supply Chain, including supply chain design, logistics, control tower, procurement, or operations.
  • High-level understanding of supply chain concepts, including network, transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
  • Prior working knowledge in analytics using analytic tools is an added advantage.
  • Excellent MS PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Preferable: Power BI, Tableau, SAP, SQL.
  • APICS, Lean certification, IBF, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Special qualifications, knowledge, and skills:
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks, adjust quickly in a short time frame with limited direct supervision.
    • Ability to create rapport with others and build a team environment.
    • Ability to work flexible hours if necessary.
    • Can apply first principles thinking to solve problems, self-motivated, and bias for action/ownership.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, motivational, and time management skills.
    • Excellent facilitation skills.
    • Want to work with some really smart people and still raise the bar for all of us.
