About the Role

This high-profile financial specialist position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in accounting and financial reporting. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions and reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with various functional areas to support accounting and financial reporting processes.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries, as well as account analyses and reconciliations.
  • Support the month-end financial closing and reporting process, adhering to global processes and company standards.
  • Ensure timely reporting and compliance with Novartis standards and policies.
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders, including divisional business colleagues, internal and external accounting authorities, and Division and Group Financial Reporting and Accounting.
  • Maintain a work style that exemplifies innovation, quality, collaboration, performance, courage, and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA with Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years related experience in public companies, preferably in the healthcare or life science industries.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting theory.
  • Able to multitask in a dynamic environment with experience in SAP or comparable systems.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
