Job Summary

The Test Technician - SLRC will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving all test and burn-in processes within their area of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain test and burn-in processes to ensure high-quality products.
  2. Review and update process specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with safety specifications.
  3. Ensure that test and burn-in processes are within safety specifications and consistently review quality yields to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Assist with the development of new equipment, fixtures, and test programs, and ensure effective preventive maintenance and diagnostics schedules are in place.
  5. Coordinate preventive maintenance activities and ensure scheduled activities are completed according to the specified schedule.
  6. Assist engineering and development labs with new product introduction and development, and coordinate and monitor FIMPA or product off-load activities for assigned test and burn-in processes.
  7. Develop and facilitate training/certification packages for manufacturing and maintenance personnel, and partner with Industrial Engineering on equipment moves or line re-arrangements.
  8. Drive recovery actions/repair of any test or burn-in process that is down, and assist test engineers in developing disaster recovery plans.
  9. Follow Engineering test processes and perform high-level repair, format, and build software per unit configuration, and configure/flashes firmware on Sub-assemblies.
  10. Troubleshoot/debug at multiple system levels, and perform module verification and first-line support for workstation and line issues.
  11. Log and fail defects of units and parts that are defective, and address trending failures.
