We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Carrier. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the execution of quality objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Set day-to-day objectives for the achievement of immediate quality goals within your area of responsibility.
- Supervise processes related to quality initiatives, including supplier qualifications, assessments, monitoring, and quality issue resolution.
- Supervise the implementation of quality initiative strategies and ensure that suppliers meet or exceed requirements.
- Supervise quality-related activities, such as raw material assessments and design of contracted manufactured items.
- Ensure that suppliers are capable of meeting all requirements for work transfer and process change management.
Requirements
- University Degree
- Advanced English
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Quality Engineer
- Experience in problem-solving tools (Lean manufacturing, 8D, Six Sigma)
- Experience in ISO audits
- Project management or implementation experience
- Statistical data analysis (ANOVA, MSA, hypothesis testing)
- Knowledge of quality metrics (FPY and Scrap)
- Interpretation of blueprints and electrical wiring
- Experience with Minitab or any statistical tool
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel)
- Power BI experience (desirable)
