Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Process Engineer to join our team at Bosch Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality products, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Design and Optimization: Develop and implement process designs, procedures, and instructions for TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Reliability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure equipment reliability, availability, and maintainability, meeting or exceeding targets for technical availability, cycle time, and defect cost.
  • Manufacturing Process Compliance: Ensure that manufacturing processes comply with engineering principles, customer requirements, Bosch standards, and process specifications.
  • Training and Development: Train and instruct production and technical personnel on new processes, procedures, and equipment.
  • Project Support: Support projects and new releases according to the VS shift model, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
  • Process Implementation: Implement new products and processes, defining, acquiring, transferring, accepting, validating, releasing, and installing production processes and equipment according to Bosch standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate actively in project planning (PJM) and collaborate with lead plant/development teams on manufacturing process definition, product handling, cycle time, hardware design, and other related areas.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3 or more years of experience in mechanical systems, including press fit, screwing, automated assembly, plasma, laser cleaning, and leak testing.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Proficient in communication and team relationship skills.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Technical Knowledge: High knowledge of Kistler, Rexroth, and other related systems, as well as 3D design reviews, changeovers, and machine design standards.
  • Travel and Visa Requirements: Availability to travel and no legal restrictions to obtain a Mexican passport and visa.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive industry or electronic manufacturing industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronic, Automation, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering).
  • Language Skills: Advanced English language skills.
