Job Summary:

Eaton Corporation is seeking a highly skilled EHS Engineer to join our team. As an EHS Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting environmental, health, and safety efforts at our site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of our Management System of Environmental, Safety, Security, and Health (MESH) and utilize MESH tools to drive improvements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Track and analyze leading and lagging indicators to monitor EHS performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and implementation of EHS goals and objectives, and promote a zero-incident EHS culture throughout the site.
  • Collaborate with EHS teams and committees to achieve established targets and objectives.
  • Work with EHS leaders and MESH element champions to ensure compliance with EHS country, state, and local regulations.
  • Support efforts to obtain third-party recognition for our EHS programs.
  • Provide support for using established EHS data processes, such as the MESH Suite, to manage data.
  • Ensure that all key EHS operational controls are in place, on a PM program, and that EHS action items are resolved in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline, or equivalent.
  • Ability to identify state and country EHS requirements.
  • Ability to facilitate EHS teams.
  • Ability to utilize company-wide systems for reporting EHS data and information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to conduct training.
