Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to work within the ING - Data Warehouse department. The successful candidate will join a team offering IT services to ING Bank Romania.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Understanding business requirements, functional analysis, and change tasks;
  • Creating test plans and designing test cases;
  • Executing sanity and functional/non-functional tests (performance, security, different access means/channels);
  • Updating and maintaining integration (regression) test plans;
  • Reporting, recording, escalating if needed, and tracing all discovered errors/bugs;
  • Providing feedback and proposing improvements for user experience designs;
  • Contributing to continuous improvements of the development process;
  • Providing support for production and UAT incidents;

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in IT or engineering;
  • Advanced level SQL scripting skills;
  • Abstract thinking and analytical/problem-solving skills;
  • Attention to details and ability to organize work;
  • Effective communication skills;

Prior experience in quality assurance, test automation, or related fields is an advantage.
