**Job Summary**
As a Housekeeping Coordinator at Marriott International, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Run sold room reports and verify room status to determine discrepant rooms.
- Prioritize room cleaning and update the status of departing guest rooms.
- Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinate efforts with other departments.
- Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
- Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff.
- Record, monitor, and update the list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
- Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
