Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Global Payroll Director to lead our global payroll strategy, ensuring compliance with local regulations and driving process improvements and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global payroll strategies across multiple countries and regions.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, social security, and statutory requirements in each jurisdiction.
  • Implement, optimize, and integrate payroll systems and technology to improve efficiency, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align payroll processes with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare and oversee payroll audits, managing relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of changes in global payroll regulations and practices, adapting policies and processes as needed.
  • Develop and implement global payroll policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistent practices and compliance.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics to assess payroll performance and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on payroll-related matters, including cost management and process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in managing relationships with global payroll service providers, with at least 3 years in a global or multi-country payroll role.
  • Proven experience implementing and scaling payroll systems in a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of global payroll compliance, statutory deductions, tax rates, social security requirements, and benefits regulations in multiple countries.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent understanding of HRIS systems and their integration with payroll systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess payroll data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and confidentiality requirements in handling employee information.
  • Proficient in using G-suite and MS Office applications for data analysis and reporting.
